Direct Admissions Scheme to Senior Year Places 2013-14

Thank you for your interest in our programmes. 

The application deadline for admission in September 2013 has been passed.  Updated information for admission in September 2014 will be available at around November 2013. 

If you are a graduate of recognised full-time Associate Degree (AD) or Higher Diploma (HD) programmes in community colleges in Hong Kong which should be of at least two years in duration, we welcome your application through the Direct Admissions Scheme to Senior Year Places.  Final-year students on such programmes can also apply and their applications will be considered subject to their completion of the programme by August 2013.

(The following categories of applicants should apply through the Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme instead:

• Associate Degree / Higher Diploma graduates / students of community colleges in Hong Kong who are interested in programmes other than those senior year places listed under Programme Information
• Applicants who are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree programme in a tertiary institution and would like to transfer to this University; and
• Applicants who would like to apply for direct entry to senior year places based on qualifications other than Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in community colleges in Hong Kong.)

In consideration of applications for admission, applicants will be assessed according to their qualifications, achievements and the number of years of study at school. You may wish to note that admission of sub-degree graduates into senior year places is based on merit and is not influenced by the community college they are studying.

Closing date for applications for admission in September 2013:
December 28, 2012

You will receive a decision on your application in or after February 2013. If you receive an offer of admission to HKU, you are required to pay a deposit of HK$10,000 upon acceptance of the offer.
