Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for admission to senior year places under the Direct Admissions Scheme (to Senior Year Places), candidates should be graduates of recognised full-time Associate Degree (AD) or Higher Diploma (HD) programmes in community colleges in Hong Kong which should be of at least two years in duration. Final-year students on such programmes can also apply and their applications will be considered subject to their completion of the programme by August 2012. For the BA and the
BSc(IM) programmes, sub-degree graduates from all disciplines are eligible. As for other programmes, applicants should be from the related disciplines.You may wish to note that admission of sub-degree graduates into senior year places is based on merit and is not influenced by the community college from which you may be applying.

If you are also interested in admission as a first-year student under the three-year or four-year curriculums, you may include first-year programmes among your programme choice. For first-year programmes, your application will be considered together with other applicants from the non-JUPAS admissions scheme and you are expected to fulfil the same requirements applicable to non-JUPAS applicants.
