Student Ambassador Scheme
Student Ambassadors – HKU Elites!
Student Ambassador Scheme was initiated since 2005 in the University. Each year, outstanding students from all Faculties will undergo selection procedures and are nominated as Student Ambassadors of HKU. They will represent HKU in various public events and promotional activities such as school visits, Information Day and Centenary Celebration Events. Apart from helping out in all manners of activities held by the University, HKU Student Ambassadors are unique source of information on course selection and they offer a real insight into student life for prospective students in experience sharing sessions. The scheme is of increasing popularity among HKU students since it is an excellent way for students to sharpen their communication, presentation and social skills as well as gaining experience of working with young people.
Despite the benefits that Student Ambassadors can gain while offering help to the University and prospective students, various social activities and gatherings provided by the Scheme also add colours to the exciting life of the Student Ambassadors. The Orientation Camp, Super Pass Dinner and Cultural Exchange Trip, for instance, are some social events which Student Ambassadors treasure a lot.
Our Student Ambassadors are always ready to share with you their incredible student life, you are most welcome to join the programmes held by our office and make friends with our HKU Elites!
