Be Full of Yourself! — HKU Student Arts Fest
Culture Shock! presents the first ever HKU Student Arts Festival! This event lasts from April 8 to April 20 and throughout the period students can see visual arts, music, drama and dance around campus! I went to check out the “Be Full of Yourself” Students Arts Exhibition today located in the G/f of Chi Wah Learning Commons and along G/f and LG of University Street! The concept behind the exhibition is for every artist to exhibit artworks that are “manifestations of the self in the community that surrounds them”. The Culture Shock Team hopes to incorporate student artworks around campus more thoroughly in the future to vitalize the school environment, in the meantime, here’re some of the cool artworks below! *Credits of each photographed artwork to their respective artists* Please stay tuned for the rest of the festival! I know I’m going to be watching the drama production “Something Different” next week! “Blogging is a conversation, not a code.” – Mike Butcher ~Comments, queries, ideas, feel free to read and drop me a line~ JW
