Get a Night Out in Stanley!

I have written about my recommendations for a visit to Stanley and the Repulse Bay a while ago, read it here. Well today I’m going to recommend Stanley to you again, simply because I love it so much! With all due necessity this better be good right? Of course, this time we’re going to Stanley at night. Behold!

While Stanley’s Mediterranean atmosphere is definitely its most evident attraction, I find the night to blend in with that even better! After all Hong Kong is more beautiful in the deepening night. If you have visited Stanley during the day you would have noticed the plethora of restaurant/bars lying alongside Stanley Main Street. Most of these restaurant/bars operate until 00:00 (i.e. Mid-night), a few popular ones would operate until 2:00 a.m. So it’s worth your night out if you’re looking for some freshness after all the LKF-mundaneness.

Stanley Plaza

Full of Lights, too

It’s a good idea getting a stride to the pier near Murray House, where you will find some local fishermen and loud couples. There you could get a view of the Stanley Bay and Stanley Main Street, which are indeed quite different from Victoria Harbor but still nice.

Full array of bars to choose from

Finally we get to our destination, one of the restaurant/bars on the main street. If you arrive early around 10 p.m. there will be a lot to choose from. Some restaurants have different menus for noon and evening/night.
