I get very picky when it comes to choosing a place to have a drink and chill; I want a comfortable yet stylish ambience, preferably full of big couches with colorful cushions, and tasty drinks. A cute bar boy would be a plus, woo-la-la.

That’s why I’d give Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail Lounge, a Hawaiian themed lounge bar with live music, a gold star.

The place itself is very lovely with both inside and outside sitting areas. Wooden and tropical atmosphere with palm trees and tribal artworks warms up the place and lets people relax and enjoy.

Each cocktails, served in a very delicate, adorable, humorous, and creative glasses or carved fruits, are very carefully made and delish. I usually prefer strong liquor to cocktails since I just think that it’s a waste of money if there’s not enough alcohol in my drinks you know what I mean? but Honi Honi cocktails are full of flavours; you’ll be able to taste each ingredients as well as the whole savory mixture.

Also, I am pretty sure Honi Honi has got one of the best service you could ask for in a casual bar – of course unless you don’t go to one of the classy ass bars that you need to dress up to get in. Even when the place was packed, servers checked on us and other tables, occasionally chatting with us in a very playful manner. AND, well, they were cute and I think I’m going back to get their numbers.

Another thing I really liked about Honi Honi is that people there, including both the customers and the staff, were VERY CHILL AND FRIENDLY. At the end of the night, you find yourself talking to and hanging out with bunch of buddy-buddy strangers.

Obviously it is a really popular place, packed during the day and night, weekdays and weekends, and you’ll have to book a table or go super early to get a comfy couch seat you want. Even though the drinks are a bit pricy, ranging from $100-200 on average, except some ginormous specialties like the picture above, I say go check it out cus it’s gonna worth your money and time.
