This is a four night/five day residential programme that comprises lectures and workshops taught by award-winning teachers and members of the Faculty of Arts’ four Schools: School of English, School of Chinese, School of Humanities, School of Modern Languages and Cultures. The programme aims to introduce students to a multi-disciplinary, international learning environment within the Faculty as well as provide them with an opportunity to experience campus residential life. Students will be encouraged to adopt a different approach to learning, to think critically and creatively about various issues related to the disciplines taught by the Faculty, and work on a group presentation that sums up their experiences throughout the week. During their stay, students will be mentored by current BA undergraduates who will supply additional insight into life at HKU!
Eligibility: S5 to S6 or equivalent to the last two years of high school
Programme / Course fee: HKD2,400 (Please note that the course fee includes accommodation, one lunch and one dinner. Other meals are at students’ own expense.)
